Container flatbed

A container flatbed is a semi-trailer designed to transport bulk cargo and containers between shipping facilities and terminals, simply defined as a flat platform that is 20 feet, 40 feet, 48 feet or 53 feet long. Usually used to transport 20-foot or 40-foot containers, mainly used to support container transportation in ships, ports, waterways, highways, transfer stations, bridges, tunnels and multimodal transport.

The function of the container flat is realized through the design and manufacture of its structure. Fundamentally, it is a transport device whose frame is defined primarily by a steel structure. It also includes the lighting system, brakes and tires. It is engineered to achieve the required height and weight to safely load and transport cargo from one location to another.

Use a platform trailer to transfer cargo in the shipper's warehouse. When unloading to the receiver's warehouse, there is no need to take the goods out of the box and change them when changing trailers or boats en route.

The size of the loading area of the container trailer is determined according to the standard container size. Twist lock devices for fixing the container are provided at positions corresponding to the four corners of the bottom of the container.
